History

1949

The founder Herbert Meyer did start machine and apparatus engineering in Munich. The product range contained Pretzel Machines for bake houses and Iron Presses for laundries.

1966

First Fusing press was developed already equipped with hydraulic pressure generation.

1968

Meyer bought Plant II in Roetz.

1970

Meyer designed the first continuously working Fusing Machine.

1971

Factory extension took place in Roetz, hall 2 was constructed.

1972

Werner Meyer, son of Herbert Meyer, became officially the Managing Director.

 

1973

Fur Presses became a new business. Those were the first designed hydraulically working Heat Presses. The same year, the first Thermo-Transfer-Printing Presses were designed.

1976

Hot-Stamping Presses for profiling foam. Further extension of company is realized by constructing hall 3 in Roetz

1982

First Laminating Machines were designed in Roetz.

1987

First Moulding Line for car carpets.

1989

First Moulding Line for headliners.

1990

The company is securing their location with construction of hall 4 and 5 in Roetz

 

1997

Thomas C. Meyer, son of Werner Meyer, became officially the Managing Director.

2003

Office in Munich is closed

2004

Investment for 6m milling machine from CME

2005

New Test Center

Certification according DIN ISO 9001:2000 is planned for 2005
