Quality Policy

Maschinenfabrik Herbert Meyer GmbH was founded in 1949 and is known as a specialist in the sectors of press construction, fusing machines and laminating lines all over the world. The company slogan, Ideas that bond: fusing, laminating, stamping and molding, emphasizes on the one hand that all products of M/s Meyer are related to bonding two or more materials.  For this purpose, mainly thermoplastic adhesives are used.  These adhesives are considered being very modern and environment friendly.

On the other hand, our slogan also expresses the tight link with our customers.  It is one part of our company strategy to create a friendship-based relationship with our customers and, thus, to link the customer at long term to our company.  In order to achieve this result, enormous efforts are necessary.
The customer expects machinery at highest quality level with outstanding performance and longevity.  In particular the increasing number of customers operating in the automotive industry also expect an efficient after-sales service in order not to have delivery problems themselves.

The rising cost pressure and the obligation for new developments related to it represent an excellent chance for M/s Meyer to support our customers with the development of their targets. Our customers are able to test our machines at a daily basis in our test center and to develop their products with the competent assistance and support of our staff. This closeness to the customers now enables us to continue developing and optimizing our machinery permanently.

Moreover, intensive market research is necessary for detecting new trends at an early stage and for taking the corresponding steps on request. Knowing our competitors' products is of course also essential. Only permanent comparisons with our competitors' products and services permit a realistic positioning on the international market. Our goal is clearly defined: We have to outperform our competitors in every aspect.

Satisfied employees are amongst others the most important success factor of a company. Therefore, we attach great importance to particularly positive working conditions and human relations which is obtained by constant workplace modernization, recurrent training and an appropriate personnel structure. Transparent processes and regular information on the company's success motivate the employees who use their best efforts for the company.
