The machine concept consists of a powder scatter that is scattering adhesive powder on the material that is to be laminated. Together with the top material this compound enters in to the flatbed laminating machine. There the compound is heated up until the adhesive powder is melting. Inside of the laminator a pair of pressure rollers applies linear pressure for better bonding an a cooling zone cools down the compound.
If higher production speeds are needed, or the top material does not stand high temperatures the powder can be melted with IR-heaters, just before the compound goes into the laminator..
